1,100 energy storage systems - sonnen sets a monthly delivery record with its sonnenBatterie

Wildpoldsried, 06 December 2016 – During the month of November the sonnen group, the world’s biggest manufacturer of intelligent energy storage systems, delivered about 1,100 sonnenBatteries. This set a new record as it was the first time in the history of the company to deliver more than 1,000 energy storage systems within one month. The biggest share went to the German market, followed by Italy and the US.

The key to our success are our sonnenBatterie Center and specialist partners as well as our new sonnenFlat that is meeting a real demand of our customers”, says Philipp Schröder, head of sales and marketing at sonnen. 

The sonnenBatterie is designed and manufactured in Wildpoldsried, Bavaria. With the sonnenFlat, that completely eliminates electricity costs, sonnen offers an additional service to customers that makes the storage units even more profitable. The sonnenCommunity makes customers furthermore fully independent from conventional energy suppliers.

The sales network of sonnen already includes almost 500 sales partners around the world. sonnen thereby employs a total of approximately 250 people. 160 of them work at the headquarters in Wildpoldsried.
